4- The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

The best story of LOVE there is. A DOG’s LOVE for its OWNER.

5- Tell the Wolves I’m Home by Carol Rifka Brunt

6- Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson

7- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

THIS story, so unexpected, but so eye opening and wonderful. Just give it a try!

8- To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee

My favorite classic, HANDS down.

9- Attachments by Rainbow Rowel

Rowell rocks it with this friendship story told mostly through emails! [Review]

10- One Good Hustle by Billie Livingston

I ADORED this story- young girl; her parents did wrong by her and she tries to make it on her own. [Review]

  1. This list is perfect for me! I am really scared of the adult genre, mostly because I have NO IDEA where to even start. I vow to read one of these books before the end of the year. Which one should I try? Nowhere But Home? I’ve heard AMAZING things about that one.

  2. Heck yeah Attachments! I still don’t have the ball to read Me Before You even though it’s been on my shelf for over a year! Mad <333 for Nowhere But Home and The Kite Runner! I should read more adult than I do.

  5. Well I definitely need to read the first three that’s for sure *hides*. I can never read The Art of Racing in the Rain, it will kill me I think. Just destroy my very being … Attachments has to happen also. Cass this is an extraordinary list, so many good choices :) You read so much adult fiction now!!!!
