This is what happens when I need a FUN IDEA. Judith of Paper Riot and I have decided to bring you a mini-series! This will entail us EACH [on our individual blogs] showcasing the setting and cast according to our visions while reading!
One thing my mother never knew, and would disapprove of most of all, was that I watched the Garretts. All the time.”
The Garretts are everything the Reeds are not. Loud, numerous, messy, affectionate. And every day from her balcony perch, seventeen-year-old Samantha Reed wishes she was one of them . . . until one summer evening, Jase Garrett climbs her terrace and changes everything. As the two fall fiercely in love, Jase’s family makes Samantha one of their own. Then in an instant, the bottom drops out of her world and she is suddenly faced with an impossible decision. Which perfect family will save her? Or is it time she saved herself?
Reviews: Judith’s Review
Jase’s House. Why? Its perfect. Just big enough for the WHOLE clan. And it is homey looking, but not as “perfect” as Samantha’s home. Though, I like this one better.
Samantha’s Home. Perfect. Seriously, from the porch to the fence, this IS Samantha’s home. In my head, this is the goody-two-shoes and where she lives. I love this house, also!
Gorgeous, but doesn’t know it. Her hair did it for me and the fact that she can TOTALLY rock a sundress like Samantha does, effortlessly. This girl is the one who doesn’t have to try too hard, and you hate her for it.
Um, you SEE HIM RIGHT!? He’s sexy and a bit like he’s got an edge, but down under he’s a sweetie! Just like Jase 😀
Now obviously, these are just MY visions in my head as I read My Life Next Door! Stay tuned for the next installment of Setting the Scenario coming soon! Can you do us a favor though? Let us know how YOU see things in the comments below!!
