We are back! Yes! I stuck with this monthly favorites post, mostly because it was SO fun to compile the first time around! November Novelties was the first, and December Delights is the second… do we think January will get one too? HMMMM.. only time will tell!
I listened to a TON of audio in December, but I read a few physical books, too! Of those, my favorite was..
This was recommended to me by Leah, and it was pretty awesome! Magical realism is amazing, and the premise of this book was so interesting! I loved the talking pictures, all the characters, and the secrets that some characters were keeping!
I simply can’t decide. Every audio I touched this month was gold.
And for maybe the first time ever, reviews of all these are up already! They are all amazing, and two of them are among my favorites of 2014.
Reviews:
Why Can’t I Be You: Sassy, fun, comedic.
Shotgun Lovesongs: Emotional, heartfelt, empowered.
Best Kept Secret: Riveting, powerful, raw.
I may have shopped too much this month. I can justify that by saying… tis the season? I bought FAR too much, but my favorites are..
The shirt is from Forever21 and unfortunately is out of stock but I’m obsessed.
These leggings are American Eagle, and are HALF OFF right now. They’re the comfiest and I love them!
I made some really delicious things this month, but mostly… I ate a lottttt of Christmas cookies. Far too many! But good thing I have my handy dandy SkinnyTaste cookbook to help me recover from that! As far as what went on in MY kitchen, my personal favorite was from The Southern Slow Cooker Bible [a gift from Hannah!]
Find that recipe over at Slow Cooker Sunday!
Overall, getting time with my Christmas Tree made me happy, but the best? My brother and his girlfriend came into Jersey and Jon and I had a wonderful night out with them. We don’t get to see them too much and it makes me truly happy when I get to! Other than that, I had some great blogging moments!
Leah and I got started on #hailtotheking and we are both already diving in! You guys seem super supportive of this challenge, and I personally am really excited about it!
Finally, I also got to review my first audiobook from a publisher! This was exciting since it wound up being a-amazing and b-the push I needed to read Amy Hatvany. Spoiler: I bought three more of her books. OH WELL!

That puts an end to 2014, guys! It’s been a pretty great year full of new friendships, new blog features, new life things, and much more! I can only hope that 2015 has even more greatness in store! Thanks for supporting me all year!

😀 😀 😀 YAY. So, so, so happy you loved Hope Street!! I pushed it on a coworker too and last night she sent me a text squealing over it. ♥!
I LIVE for leggings and jeggings and this winter I’m all about fleece-lined pairs. omgyes.
Still drooling over that cookbook! I haven’t used my slowcooker for a while and need to change that!

I loved seeing all your favorites for December! My favorite, personally, is this adorable shirt from Forever 21 because it is so freaking cute. And I’m looking forward to testing out recipes from Slow Cooker Sundays 😉

Yay magical realism! I gotta read that one since you and Leah both loved it. Woohoo to successful audio adventures! You totally shopped too much in December but so did I and NO REGRETS. I want those American Eagle leggings, but I highly doubt they’re long enough for me. Sad day. HOLLA SLOW COOKER. That cookbook is the bomb! I’m glad I got it for you since that’s also why I ended up getting it for myself. xoxo
